Warranty triage

My chiller won't get below 50°F — is it dead?

Usually no. The most common cause is a clogged condenser coil or insufficient airflow, followed by low refrigerant. Both are repairable on the first visit. We only recommend replacement when the compressor itself has failed.
How much does cold plunge chiller repair cost?

Diagnosis is $185–$285. Condenser cleaning + airflow correction $250–$450. Refrigerant service $350–$650. Control board $350–$900. Full chiller swap $1,800–$4,200 installed depending on the unit. We quote in writing before any work begins.
Do you handle warranty claims?

Yes. For units still under warranty with Plunge, Renu Therapy, Morozko Forge, Inergize and most major brands, we document the failure with photos and pressure readings and submit the claim on your behalf.
How fast can you respond?

Standard residential response is 48 hours. Commercial accounts (gyms, hotels, studios) get same-day priority. Emergency after-hours service is available.
Why do cold plunge chillers fail more in LA than other markets?

Heat. Most consumer chillers are rated for 85°F inlet air. A garage or west-facing patio in LA regularly exceeds 100°F in summer, which forces the compressor into high-pressure cutoff and accelerates condenser fouling. Shading the chiller and cleaning the coil quarterly dramatically extends its life.
