Driftwood is us — Brock and Hannah — a husband-and-wife studio with 23 years of commercial construction between us.
Brock started as a union ironworker in Oregon. Hannah went to the University of Washington for construction management. We met in Montana, started our first business there, and learned how to build for real weather, real crews and real clients.
Then we chased the sun — and family — to Los Angeles, bringing that clean Montana energy, air and style with us. The same honest materials, the same quiet detailing, now tuned for the California coast.
We work end to end. Our trades, our furniture, our finishes, our service. One studio, one accountability — and a room that still feels right ten years on.

We keep toxins out of the saunas, plunges and rooms we build — on purpose, every time.
For cold plunges and saunas we prefer no chemical cleaners. We rely on ozone, UV, mineral systems and top-tier organic products to keep water and cedar pristine — so what touches your skin and what you breathe in stays clean.
Across our builds we choose resourceful, low-impact materials: responsibly-sourced timber, low-VOC finishes, natural stone and honest metals. Fewer additives. Fewer off-gases. A room that feels as good as it looks — for years.
