Tower crane standing over a concrete structure on a Los Angeles job site

Los Angeles · Licensed · Insured · Bonded

Lift.
Haul.
Place it.

Crane, forklift and rigging work, a 30-foot gooseneck flatbed, and removal hauling — run by the same crew that builds and maintains the saunas, cold plunges and equipment your property depends on.

— What we move

Three ways we get it there.

01

Crane, forklift & rigging

Our founder came up as an ironworker, so heavy equipment is home turf. Cranes, forklifts and rigging for saunas, cold plunges, spas, tanks and other heavy pieces — placed safely where they need to go, including tight coastal lots, hillside properties and second-story access.

02

Gooseneck deliveries & pick-ups

A 30-foot gooseneck flatbed for deliveries and pick-ups across Los Angeles. Last-minute hauls, equipment moves, materials runs, and getting a sauna, plunge or machine exactly where it needs to be — same-week windows when the schedule allows.

03

Removal & haul-away

Old chillers, broken plunges, benches, gym equipment, job-site debris and unwanted pieces: we load it, haul it and get the site clear. Useful on its own, or as the last step of a repair, replacement or remodel.

— The kit

Our own trailer.
Our own rigging.

The 30-foot gooseneck and the rigging hardware are ours, and the work is run by someone who came up as an ironworker — so heavy equipment is home turf. That is why short-notice hauls are usually workable and why every load gets checked, rigged and tied down the same way.

Load weight, dimensions and the rigging plan are confirmed before we mobilize — if the trailer is not the right answer, we say so and bring the crane or forklift instead.

— How it works

Quote first.
Then we mobilize.

  1. 01

    Send the details

What it is, how heavy, how big, where it is coming from and where it is going. Photos help.

  2. 02

    We check the site

Access, overhead, ground conditions and the safest way in and out. That decides the method.

  3. 03

    You approve the quote

One flat number for the job before anything moves. No day-of surprises.

  4. 04

    We mobilize and place it

Rig, lift, load, drive, set and clear — the same crew start to finish.

— Who we run for

Built for hard
deadlines.

A late delivery is a lost day. Most of this work is scheduled backwards from a date that cannot move — a lease start, an opening, a production run, a shoot day. Tell us the date and we tell you straight whether we can hit it.

Startups & build-outs

Offices, workshops and first production spaces where the lease start and the opening date are fixed. Equipment lands, gets placed and is out of the way before day one.

Industrial & manufacturing

Machines, presses, tanks and benches moved in, moved out or shifted across a floor. Rigging plan and load paths checked before anything comes off a truck.

Labs & aerospace facilities

Tight-tolerance rooms, restricted access and requirements that have to be met exactly. Send the spec and the access rules and we work to them.

Film, events & production

Sets, stages and installations that go up on a schedule and come down on one too. Late changes are normal here — the trailer and the crew stay reachable.

Property managers & estates

Chillers, saunas, plunges and heavy pieces placed, replaced or removed quietly, with the site left cleaner than we found it.

Contractors & builders

A crane, a forklift and a 30-foot flatbed on call for the piece your own crew cannot move, so the schedule does not stall on one delivery.

— Questions

Before
you call.

How much does crane, forklift or rigging work cost?
Every lift is quoted individually. Price depends on the weight and size of the load, how high or far it has to travel, what access the site allows, and how long the equipment and crew are needed. Send the details and we come back with one flat number before anything moves.
What can the 30-foot gooseneck flatbed carry?
Sized for the loads our own projects move: saunas, cold plunges, spas, chillers, gym equipment, machinery, materials and job-site debris. Tell us the dimensions and weight and we confirm whether the trailer and rigging are the right fit, or line up the crane or forklift to go with it.
Can you get into a tight coastal lot or a hillside property?
That is the part of the job we like. We check access, overhead clearance and ground conditions first, then choose the method — forklift, crane, rigging hardware or a hand carry with the right gear — so nothing is forced through a space it does not fit.
Do you do last-minute pickups and deliveries?
Often, yes. The gooseneck is our own, so short-notice hauls are workable when the schedule allows. Send the date and location and we will tell you straight whether we can take it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Driftwood is a California CSLB Class B general contractor, license #1159350, fully insured and bonded. That covers the transport, rigging and lift work as well as the build and care side of the business.
